Marcial Gala nasceu em Havana em 1965. É romancista, poeta e arquiteto. Ganhou o Prêmio Pinos Nuevos de contos em 1999. Recebeu o Prêmio Alejo Carpentier de romances em 2012 e o Prêmio da Crítica para os melhores livros publicados em Cuba em 2012. Gala também ganhou o Prêmio Ñ em 2018 com "Me chama de Cassandra". Atualmente vive entre Buenos Aires e Cienfuegos. |
