Gwendolyn grew up in the southern U.S., the eldest of four daughters. Her favorite hobbies were reading and writing stories for her three younger sisters. She wrote these poems when she was in high school and saved them all these years in the same old battered note book until she met Angel Bryant, who happily agreed to illustrate them. Gwendolyn has always been fascinated with the mystical and mythical. She now lives on a house boat in Bermuda with her husband doing sailing and snorkeling charters to the outer reefs. She swims in a mermaid tail to enchant and entertain children.
