Braithwaite, Oyinkan
OYINKAN BRAITHWAITE nasceu na Nigéria, na cidade de Lagos, onde ainda reside. Ela tem graduação em Escrita Criativa e em Direito, pela Kingston University, de Londres. Depois de se formar, trabalhou como assistente editorial na Kachifo, uma editora nigeriana, e como gerente de produção na Ajapaworld, uma empresa de educação e entretenimento infantil. Atualmente, Oyinkan atua como escritora e editora freelancer.
Em 2014, foi indicada entre as dez melhores artistas spoken word (declamação) no concurso de poesia slam “Eko Poetry Slam”, em Lagos, Nigéria. Em 2016, foi finalista do “Commonwealth Short Story Prize”, que premia os melhores textos ainda não publicados do ano. |
