Victor LaValle é um autor americano ganhador de diversos prêmios, inclusive um Shirley Jackson Award e um American Book Award. Foi criado no Queens por sua mãe, uma imigrante ugandense, que se mudou para os Estados Unidos aos vinte anos. Hoje dá aulas na Universidade de Columbia e vive em Washington Heights com sua esposa e filhos. Aprendeu o Alfabeto Supremo com dezoito anos de idade e o tem usado desde então. |
