In 2011, Cherielle was attending the Leather History Conference where the Carter/Johnson Leather Library was on display. She was looking at a book that had been created full of stories by Leather Women. Being a bootblack who adores history, Cherielle decided that there needed to be a book like that, but with stories by and about bootblacks. Tales From The Chair is the result of that fateful day.
