Joakim Zander nasceu em 1975 em Estocolmo, Suécia. Cresceu na pequena cidade de Söderköping, mas também morou na Síria, em Israel e, durante o ensino médio, participou de um programa de intercâmbio nos Estados Unidos. Após realizar o serviço militar obrigatório na Marinha sueca, estudou direito na Universidade de Uppsala e obteve doutorado na mesma área pela Maastricht University. Sua tese recebeu o Rabobank Prize. Zander trabalhou para o Parlamento Europeu e para a Comissão Europeia, em Bruxelas. |
